This Privacy Policy explains how Tomo Haus LLC ("Tomo Haus," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the TRKD+ mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). By using TRKD+, you agree to the practices described here.
We built TRKD+ to be private by design. We do not show ads, we do not use advertising identifiers, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your personal information or your health information.
1. Who we are
TRKD+ is provided by Tomo Haus LLC. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@trkdplus.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name (if you provide one) and email address, along with an identifier from your sign-in method (Sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password). If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive only Apple's private relay address, not your real email.
Using TRKD+ without an account. You can use TRKD+ without creating an account. We create an anonymous account for you so your entries can be saved and read back. It has an internal identifier but no name, email address, or password, and we cannot use it to identify or contact you.
Anonymous data is tied to the app on your device or to your browser. If you delete the app or clear your browser before creating an account, that data cannot be recovered by you or by us.
If you later create an account, your existing entries move with you into that account. If the email or provider you choose already belongs to an account, we sign you into that account instead and permanently delete the entries made anonymously. You are warned before that happens.
You can delete an anonymous account and everything in it from within the app, the same way as any other account.
Information you enter into the app. TRKD+ is a tracking tool, so the core of what we store is what you choose to log: the compounds, peptides, supplements, vitamins, or other items you track; doses and schedules; weight and body measurements; goals; and any notes you add. You control this information and can edit or delete it at any time.
Apple Health data (only with your permission). If you connect Apple Health, TRKD+ can read certain data to display it in the app. See Section 4 for exactly what we read and how we handle it. This is optional and off until you turn it on.
Usage and device information. We collect limited, aggregate information about how the app is used, such as which screens are opened and which features are tapped, along with basic technical details like app version and device type. This helps us understand what is working and fix problems. This analytics data is about app interactions only. It never includes your health values, your logs, or the specific compounds you track.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide the Service, including saving your logs and syncing them across your devices;
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure;
- Display your own data back to you, including Apple Health data you have connected;
- Understand and improve how the app is used, using aggregate analytics only;
- Communicate with you about your account or support requests;
- Comply with law and protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
4. Apple Health (HealthKit)
Connecting Apple Health is optional. If you turn it on, TRKD+ requests read-only access to specific data types so it can show them to you inside the app:
- Body weight and body fat percentage, which can appear in your logs so you do not have to enter them by hand;
- Steps, active energy, walking and running distance, and sleep, which can appear on your home screen activity dials.
How we handle Apple Health data:
- We only read these values. We do not write to Apple Health.
- We use this data solely to provide features inside TRKD+.
- We never use Apple Health data for advertising or marketing.
- We never share Apple Health data with third parties for advertising, and we do not sell it.
- Weight and body fat you connect are stored in your account so they appear in your history. Steps, distance, active energy, and sleep are read live to display on your dials.
- You can turn Apple Health access off at any time in the iOS Settings app under Privacy and Security, or in your TRKD+ profile.
Our use of Apple Health data follows Apple's HealthKit requirements.
5. Your health information and state consumer health data laws
Some of the information you choose to provide to TRKD+ is health-related, including the compounds, peptides, supplements, and vitamins you track, your doses, your weight and body measurements, and any data you connect from Apple Health. Some U.S. state laws, including the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law, and the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, treat this kind of information as "consumer health data" and give it special protection. This section describes how we handle it and applies in addition to the rest of this policy.
- We collect it only through your own actions. Health-related information comes into TRKD+ only when you enter it yourself or when you choose to connect Apple Health and grant permission. Connecting Apple Health, and entering your own logs, is your affirmative choice to have TRKD+ collect and use that information to provide the Service to you.
- We use it only to provide the Service. We use your health-related information to save, organize, and display your own data back to you, and for nothing else.
- We do not sell it, and we do not share it for advertising. We do not sell your health information, we do not share it with third parties for their own or for advertising purposes, and we do not use it to target ads. It is never included in our usage analytics.
- Service providers. The only third parties that process this information are the infrastructure providers that run the Service on our behalf, described in Section 6, and they are contractually limited to that purpose.
- We do not geofence. We do not use location technologies to identify or track your presence at any health care facility.
- Your choices. You can withdraw permission for Apple Health at any time in iOS Settings, edit or delete individual entries in the app, and delete your account and its data from your Profile. To make a request specifically about your consumer health data, including access or deletion, contact support@trkdplus.com.
6. How your information is stored and shared
Service providers. We use Google Firebase (provided by Google LLC) to run core parts of the Service, including account authentication, our database, file storage, hosting, and product analytics. Firebase processes this data on our behalf so we can operate TRKD+. We also rely on Apple and Google for sign-in.
No advertisers, no data sales. We do not share your personal information or your health information with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not sell it.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users, the public, or Tomo Haus.
Business transfers. If Tomo Haus is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the successor to honor this policy.
7. Advertising and tracking
TRKD+ contains no advertising. We do not use the device advertising identifier (IDFA), we do not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt because we do not track you, and we do not build advertising profiles. Our analytics measure app usage in aggregate and do not include your health information.
8. Data security
We use reputable infrastructure (Google Firebase) and industry-standard protections, including encryption of data in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, under your Profile. When you delete your account, we delete the personal data associated with it from our systems. Some information may remain in routine backups for a limited period before it is overwritten, and we may retain limited records where required by law.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
- You can view and edit most of your data directly in the app, and delete your account from your Profile.
- For any other request, contact support@trkdplus.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR, including the rights listed above and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you are in a state with a consumer health data law (see Section 5), you have the right to access and delete your consumer health data and to withdraw consent to its collection. Contact us at support@trkdplus.com to exercise these rights.
We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any of these rights, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
11. Children's privacy
TRKD+ is intended for adults and is rated for users 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at support@trkdplus.com and we will delete it.
12. International users
TRKD+ is operated from the United States, and your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to countries with different data protection laws than your own.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of TRKD+ after an update means you accept the revised policy.
